I AM | MARTAPETRUCCI

My name is Marta Petrucci, I am from Rome, Italy.

In 2007 graduated in Set Design and Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.

I then moved to Los Angeles and in the next five years I worked with several other photographer, such as Brad Buckman, Keri Kilgo , Manuello Paganelli and taken several classes at The Gnomon Workshop and at Julia Dean Photo Workshops with whom I collaborated as well.

My knowledge about set design and costume design have given me the skills to plan and minutely arrange every aspect of a photo-shoot set, from background and props, to the accessories decorating the models, to the lighting used.

Artistic Statement:

As long as I can remember art has always been my driving passion and I found in photography my perfect tool of expression.
Taking pictures is a way to capture moments of life, to evoke an atmosphere and to tell a story.

Availability

I am currently actively working as a freelance photographer in editorials and fashion photography.
