Vinci. Rocca dei Conti Guidi In 1817, two hundred years ago, "La gazza ladra" by Gioacchino Rossini was staged for the first time. The day of May 5 in Vinci was dedicated to him, as part of the Leonardian Celebrations 2018. The work, sculpture of the Breton artist Emmanuel Chapalain, all in aluminum, will be exposed with his 200 bronze eggs on one of the battlements of the castle walls. Two hundred eggs in homage to the 200 years of the first Scala della Rossini opera, but also a denunciation of the judicial errors that took place in the last two centuries.
